Job Opportunity – Facility Manager in Southern Florida

A client of FM360’s is seeking a Facility Manager to help them mold and build the facility program for a beautiful private club and community.  Below is a summary of the position.  Please contact FM360 for more information and to express interest.

Summary

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience as a facility manager. Previous experience in a private club, marine environment, resort or condominium setting helpful. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership and management skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.   Possess a “hands on” approach to managing resources to maintain the community and club amenities at a consistently high level.  Ability to research, plan, propose and implement projects upon approval.

Will provide leadership and expertise that ensures the effective and efficient operation of the Maintenance Department including the quality of services provided. This position is directly responsible for the efficient daily maintenance operations of the association, including related private club amenities within established guidelines.  Must be able to maintain cordial, professional open lines of communication with the condominium owners and club members.

Will be responsible for all building and grounds, fire and life safety systems, security, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, pool, elevators, on-site sewer system and lift station.   A working knowledge of pool, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, life safety operating systems, carpentry and general maintenance skills.  Experience around marinas and water front facilities helpful.

Possess strong computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office software, Xcel, email, etc. previous experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems such as Facility Dude or similar maintenance software is a must. (Bilingual helpful.)
